Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are a townhouse community that was hit very hard by the storm at lake Anna on Friday before the holiday weekend. David Kennedy Tree and Landscaping was quick to arrive and had a fair price. They showed up in force to address a number of uprooted trees and did so in short order with a large crew and the trucks and equipment. The community is very happy and pleased with the work they performed. We plan to have them back for more work in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had to be out of town the day they came. Was able to watch some of the work on my doorbell camera. Could see they did a great job, verified with follow up photos and paid via Venmo. Job well done!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. David showed up early, gave me a fantastic price (lowest of the 3 companies I had do estimates) within 5 min, came to get the job done 2 days before expected and it looks wonderful!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What can I say about David and his crew? They were absolutely incredible. Went above and beyond everything I expected. Watching them work was amazing. On day 1 we had 4 large trees taken down. On Day 2, they cleared more than a dozen, including 2 large ones extremely close to my house, 2 dead ones, and 2 with trunks half rotted through. My property has never looked better, and I will be calling them again soon to come back and grind out all the stumps. We found our landscaper for life. Can't recommend highly enough.

What We Offer

Comprehensive Tree Services Designed for Local Properties

Trees in Salem grow quickly, but uneven drainage, compacted soil, and seasonal weather can create serious risks. Our services are built to solve these problems while protecting your home, business, and surrounding landscape.

Tree Removal

Hazardous tree removal becomes more difficult near steep terrain, busy streets, and closely spaced homes. We safely remove dead, diseased, leaning, or storm-damaged trees using controlled techniques and professional equipment to protect nearby structures and keep the worksite safe.

Tree Trimming

Regular tree trimming and pruning reduce branch weight, improve tree health, and lower storm damage risk. This service is especially important for mature trees and wooded lots where overgrowth can quickly become a hazard. Proper trimming also improves the appearance of your property.

Land Clearing

If you need to clear brush, trees, or dense overgrowth for a construction project or lot expansion, we can help. Our team handles residential and commercial land clearing safely, even on difficult or uneven terrain.

Emergency Tree Services

Storm damage often needs immediate attention to prevent further property damage or safety hazards. We respond quickly to remove fallen trees, stabilize broken limbs, and restore safe access to your home or business.

Stump Grinding

Old stumps attract pests, encourage fungal growth, and create trip hazards in your yard. Our stump grinding service removes them below the surface so your property stays clean, usable, and ready for future landscaping.

Tree Care and Maintenance

Ongoing tree care helps prevent expensive problems before they happen. We monitor for signs of decay, disease, dead limbs, leaning, and root instability so your trees stay healthier and your property remains safer year-round.
