Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are a townhouse community that was hit very hard by the storm at lake Anna on Friday before the holiday weekend. David Kennedy Tree and Landscaping was quick to arrive and had a fair price. They showed up in force to address a number of uprooted trees and did so in short order with a large crew and the trucks and equipment. The community is very happy and pleased with the work they performed. We plan to have them back for more work in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had to be out of town the day they came. Was able to watch some of the work on my doorbell camera. Could see they did a great job, verified with follow up photos and paid via Venmo. Job well done!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. David showed up early, gave me a fantastic price (lowest of the 3 companies I had do estimates) within 5 min, came to get the job done 2 days before expected and it looks wonderful!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What can I say about David and his crew? They were absolutely incredible. Went above and beyond everything I expected. Watching them work was amazing. On day 1 we had 4 large trees taken down. On Day 2, they cleared more than a dozen, including 2 large ones extremely close to my house, 2 dead ones, and 2 with trunks half rotted through. My property has never looked better, and I will be calling them again soon to come back and grind out all the stumps. We found our landscaper for life. Can't recommend highly enough.

01. What is the cost of tree service in Reva, VA?

Pricing depends on the service. Tree removal ranges from $150 to $4,700+ based on size and complexity. Trimming averages $134–$166 per hour, and stump grinding is typically priced by diameter. Emergency services cost more, often $575–$675 per hour for a full crew. We provide a free written estimate so you know exactly what to expect.

02. Do I need permission for tree work in Culpeper County?

Most homeowners can remove trees on private property without a permit. However, protected trees, Resource Protection Areas within 100 feet of water, and VDOT right-of-way work may require approval. We can help determine what applies to your property.

03. Can you handle steep or hard-to-access areas?

Yes. We regularly work on steep terrain and in tight-access locations using cranes, spider lifts, and specialized rigging. Roads like Reva Road and Thompson Drive are common examples of the conditions we handle.

04. How do I know if a tree needs professional maintenance?

Watch for dead or hanging branches, trunk cracks, sudden leaning, or fungal growth at the base. Premature leaf drop, discoloration, or branches touching your roof or power lines are also warning signs. We can assess the tree and give you a clear recommendation.

05. What time of year is the cheapest for tree care in Reva?

Late fall through winter (October–February) is typically the most affordable time. Demand is lower, trees are dormant, and firmer ground reduces yard damage. Scheduling during this period can help you save on costs.
